Summer School​ for grades 8-11

​Summer Session Dates: June 2 — June 20

EOC mandatory in person testing dates June 24-26

(Not all courses require an EOC. See below for more information)

  • Cost

    • Credit Recovery/Retaking 

      • Tuition for credit recovery(retaking a course) is $175.00 per course(1.o credit)

      • ​Students qualifying for free or reduced lunch for  24-25 SY is $75 per credit recovery course(1.o credit)

    • New Credit

      • $450 per 1 credit

      • $225 per half (0.5) credit

    • Refunds are provided on or before May 28, 2025

  • Important Information

    • In Person Learning 2 days a week until the course is completed.

  • Transportation not provided

  • Students that do not attend the first day will be withdrawn.

  • Students will work virtually on the days they are not attending in person.

  • Students may be absent 1 day of in-person learning. Any absence beyond the first one will result in withdrawal from summer school (student will not eligible for a refund). 

  • Students will have access to teachers virtually when not attending on campus. (Monday-Thursday)

  • All courses are done on computer using Edmentum software

EOC Testing

  • EOC Testing: The weight of the EOC tests is 20%.  EOC tests will be administered for students enrolled in American Literature, U.S. History, Algebra I, and Biology.

NCAA Eligibility

  • NHEC summer school meets NCAA requirements for student athletes.

  • Please note that student athletes are not permitted to “test out” of any units and must complete the entire course as a new credit course.

  • It is paramount that student athletes inform their counselors that they require NCAA eligibility.
